SoCal Mobile DJ is in search of DJs/MCs for upcoming events as our calendar is filling up quickly.  We take pride in our warm, down to earth, friendly approach to our clients, we would love to meet like-minded professionals to join our team. We are looking for DJs/MCs who take pride in their work and would like to grow with our company, someone who will be with us long term. If you commit to us, we will commit to you. Our events primarily consist of weddings, corporate, private events, quinceañera’s and sweet 16’s. We are a fun and existing group to be a party of! Team members must be positive, creative, can respond to email/texts quickly and are willing to inspire each other.

Location:
Most of our events take place in Los Angeles and Orange County.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of DJ experience playing in front of live crowds.

• Excellent communicator, responds to email/texts in a timely manner (this one is EXTREMELY important).

• Have a warm, down to earth and friendly approach.

• Punctual and dependable.

• Available most weekends.

• Team player, works well with others.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Present themselves professionally.

• Music knowledge for multiple genres, know how to mix seamlessly and with great energy, able to play multiple genres and cater to a wide range of ages.

• Confident on the mic, no cheesy fake approach to announcements. Knows when to pump it up and when to speak calmly.

• Clean presentation of equipment is a must, no scratches or old worn down equipment.

• Must have valid driver’s license, insurance, and dependable transportation. Able to drive 50 miles for an event and lift up to 50 lbs in equipment.

Added bonuses but not required:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

• Facade for DJ equipment

Pay: $50 - $125 per hour based on experience and type of event
